The School of Technology (STECH) was established on 1 November 2025 through the merger of the School of Computing and Engineering Technology (SCET) and the School of Aviation Technology and Aeronautics (SAAT). This establishment strengthens ICYM’s role in providing quality technical education encompassing the fields of technology, engineering, and aviation.

The curriculum at STECH is designed in accordance with Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) standards and is supported by industry panels, ensuring that students receive relevant, well-balanced learning experiences that meet the demands of the job market.

STECH offers the Diploma in Electrical Technology, Diploma in Industrial Electronic Technology, Diploma in Information Technology, and Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Technology. This combination of expertise provides broad career pathway opportunities within the technology and aviation sectors. With qualified teaching staff and modern learning facilities, STECH is committed to producing competent, competitive graduates who are ready to contribute to industrial development at both national and global levels.

    • Passed SPM with a minimum of THREE (3) CREDITS including MATHEMATICS; OR
    • Passed STPM or equivalent; OR
    • Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government; OR
    • Passed Vocational and Technical / Skill Certificate (Level 3, MQF) and recognised or equivalent qualification.

  • For international students, Score Test of English as a Foreign Language(TOEFL) 500 OR Score International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 5.0 OR equivalent qualification.

    • Technician / Senior Technician / Assistant Engineer / Project Supervisor (involves the monitoring / supervision, fault repair, installation of electrical equipment and circuits and systematic planning of electrical projects)
