The School of Business and Hospitality Management (SBHM) was established to provide students with opportunities
to develop skills in business, hospitality, sports, culinary arts, and aviation management, in line with the rapid growth of the national service industry and digital economy.
The fields under SBHM are continuously evolving and require a skilled workforce capable of meeting industry demands. In response to these needs,
SBHM takes a proactive approach by offering relevant, up-to-date, and industry-recognised diploma programmes.
One of SBHM’s key strengths is its learning approach, which emphasises practical training, industry projects,
and real-world experience through the implementation of a teaching and learning method that combines 60% practical training and 40% theory.
SBHM programmes are also conducted using a Work-Based Learning (WBL) approach to ensure that students acquire skills that meet industry standards and to enhance graduate employability.
Students will undergo teaching and learning sessions at the college, in addition to completing industrial training according to the structure of their respective programmes,
providing them with real-world experience in a professional working environment. The lecturers consist of experienced industry professionals, ensuring that students receive high-quality and relevant training.
SBHM graduates also have the opportunity to further their studies at the Bachelor’s Degree level at public and private higher education institutions upon completion of their studies.
